Valentines day awareness

Please be safe this Valentines Day, if you are meeting someone new for the first time and feel uncomfortable or unsafe at any time during the date and feel you can't leave then you can always take the ask Ask for Angela option. 

All staff in bars and restaurants should be clued up with the ask Angela scheme and if you speak to a staff member who isn't too familiar with it then they will be able to get a staff member who is. 

Some safety tips:

. Always let a friend or family member know exactly where and what time your date is.

. Text a friend or family member to let them know you have got to the location where your date is.

. Always best to book a taxi to and from location. 

. Text a friend or family member when your date has finished.
